About Walnut Creek
“Parkmead is a welcoming, family-oriented neighborhood in Walnut Creek, California, characterized by excellent schools, beautiful parks, and a strong sense of community. Many residents are established families and professionals who value education, community involvement, and opportunities to connect with their neighbors. The neighborhood is highly walkable and offers easy access to downtown Walnut Creek, where residents gather for shopping, dining, recreation, and community events.
While Parkmead is an affluent area, there is a growing need for authentic community, meaningful relationships, and spiritual connection. Many families are navigating the pressures of busy schedules, academic expectations, and the challenges of raising children in today’s culture. Hillside Covenant Church has the opportunity to be a place where people of all ages experience belonging, deepen their faith, and find practical support through Christ-centered relationships, discipleship, and service to the broader Walnut Creek community.”
