About Mountain Springs Church
After the clear leading of the Lord, Mountain Springs Church was planted in the summer of 1995 in the Briargate community of Colorado Springs by a team of committed and called leaders. Shortly after outgrowing the launch-site home on Stratos Drive, Mountain Springs relocated to Pioneer Elementary School and then to a storefront facility located on North Academy Boulevard in 1997. In the Fall of 2001, taking a step of enormous faith, our 500-member MSC congregation purchased the acreage off Woodmen Road in the growing north-east of our great city.
It was on these redeemed acres that we were able to build our first building in 2002 and complete our subsequent expansion in 2007. This was our first season of great growth and rising community impact culminating in the opening of the MSC Counseling Center in 2022 and the Restoration Woodshop in 2023. The Family Restoration Center, located in the Summit Center, is home to the Counseling Center, the Fresh Start Center food pantry, the Woodshop, and the Aquaponics Greenhouse. Just a few years ago, we purchased the 5 acres just to the south of our existing property and are seeking the Lord about how to best deploy that acreage to further reach and restore our community for Christ.
Today we are a vibrant church with north of 4,000 people gathering weekly to celebrate and seek Jesus. We currently offer 5 weekend services in addition to Youth services on Wednesday and Young Adult services on Thursday nights. Under the pastoral direction of Pastor Daniel Rolfe and a fantastic group of collaborative and called leaders, we are committed to seeing lives changed. Through meeting the needs of our neighborhoods, we are putting a smile back on the face of our community.

About Colorado Springs
Life in Colorado Springs is a blend of outdoor-focused living and suburban comfort. The city sits right at the base of Pike’s Peak, part of the Rocky Mountains, so it’s very common for people to build their leisure activities around hiking, biking, and enjoying the outdoors. There are hundreds of parks, trails, and natural areas woven into everyday life. The climate is generally sunny and dry with mild winters compared to many other mountain regions, and the overall pace of life is a bit slower and less dense than a major metro area like Denver. It has a strong family-friendly and community-oriented feel, with a mix of military presence, young professionals, and long-time residents.
The church is located on the northeast side of town, an area which leans even more suburban and convenient than central Colorado Springs. This area is known for established neighborhoods mixed with newer development, easy access to shopping and dining hubs, and proximity to parks and open spaces. Colorado’s famous mountains, ski resorts, and national and state parks are easy day trip drives from Colorado Springs.
