The Worship Pastor at Steamboat Christian Center is responsible for leading and developing music teams across all ministries to inspire love for God and people through music. This role provides leadership and oversight for worship experiences in weekend services, youth, kids, young adults, and adult events, ensuring alignment with the church’s vision. The Worship Pastor plans, implements, and evaluates music strategies, recruits and develops musicians and tech teams, and maintains a culture of excellence and innovation. Additionally, the position involves managing the worship/media budget, collaborating with ministry leaders, and fostering spiritual growth within teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and execute inspirational worship experiences across all ministries, including weekend services, youth, kids, and young adults, ensuring alignment with the church’s vision.
- Recruit, develop, and schedule musicians, singers, and tech team members, fostering a culture of excellence and spiritual growth within teams.
- Collaborate with ministry leaders to design and implement music strategies that inspire all generations to love God and love people through music.
- Oversee the programming of music, video, and creative elements for services, maintaining high standards of innovation and quality.
- Manage the Worship/Media budget and provide ongoing feedback and training to ensure effective use of musical and technical resources.
