Meadowbrook Church is a non-denominational church that has been making an impact for the Gospel for 33 years. A congregation of 2,500 that continues to grow and is prepared for a new season of ministry within the Student Ministry.
Position Description
The High School Pastor will provide leadership and direction for the comprehensive development and sustainment of a vibrant and growing High School Student Ministry. They will collaborate with the Middle School and Children’s Pastors to create a cohesive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a thriving pro-family High School ministry responsive to the dynamic needs of students and their families.
- Lead a functional and cohesive High School ministry Dream Team
- Provide support for parents and opportunities for them to engage in the ministry.
- Create a robust small-group ministry experience
- Teach in HS ministry while collaborating with the Next Gen teaching team on content
What a Strong Candidate Would Look Like
- Be in full agreement with the Mission and Vision of MC Ocala.
- Have 1-5 years of experience in student ministry.
- Have an evangelistic heart that is compassionate, and understanding of the challenges students are facing.
- Desire to work on and build a thriving team.
- Resonate with the church and the community of Ocala.
