Why We Love This Opportunity
I love this opportunity because of the church and the location. The church is a growing, thriving multi-site church with a vision to empower and deploy leaders and staff to do what God has called them to do. They believe in resourcing and discipling their staff so that they have both the character and the ability to lead at a high level. I also love the location. In rural Ohio, NewPointe is a city on a hill. The community is a rare community that still has prayer in public schools, slow pace of life and a contentment with life that isn’t found in many places. This is a great opportunity grow in leadership, while raising a family in the heartbeat of America.
About NewPointe Church
NewPointe started as Sugarcreek Free Methodist Church in 1927. In their rich history, they have moved into multiple buildings, renamed and became a non-denominational church and gone multi-site to now include 6 locations across Easter Ohio. Pastor Dwight Mason has been the lead pastor since 1985. He has led the church into each of these changes and the exponential growth the church has experienced. NewPointe is a fast growing, mega-church that is looking for their next Campus Pastor for the Dover (broadcast) campus.

About Dover
Nestled in Tuscarawas County, Dover offers a mix of quiet residential neighborhoods, local shops, and access to scenic outdoor spaces, making it easy to balance work and leisure. Residents often gather for local events, high school sports, and seasonal festivals, creating a strong sense of belonging. The nearby city of New Philadelphia adds extra dining and shopping options, while the surrounding countryside provides a peaceful backdrop of rolling hills and farmland. Overall, life in Dover is defined by its affordability, friendliness, and more personal rhythm compared to larger urban areas.
