Unity Baptist Church is seeking a relational and outreach-focused Youth Pastor to lead and disciple middle and high school students in a growing semi-rural community. This leader will build strong relationships with students and families both inside and outside the church through biblical teaching, community involvement, and intentional discipleship. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated leader with a passion for reaching students from diverse backgrounds, including public school, homeschool, and military families, while aligning with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the student ministry for middle and high school students
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families through consistent presence in schools, athletic events, community activities, and church life
- Teach and communicate God’s Word through clear, engaging, and biblically grounded messages
- Develop and disciple student leaders and volunteers to create a healthy, growing ministry culture
- Engage students through relational outreach, social media, and intentional community involvement
- Collaborate with church staff and leadership to support the overall mission and vision of the church
- Plan and execute weekly gatherings, events, camps, retreats, and outreach opportunities
- Create a welcoming environment that effectively reaches and disciples students from public school, homeschool, and military family backgrounds

- Loves Jesus, God’s Word, and helping students grow into lifelong disciples
- Naturally relational and enjoys building connections with students, parents, volunteers, and the community
- Comfortable engaging students both inside the church and where they already spend their time, including schools, events, and online spaces
- A gifted communicator who can teach Scripture in a clear, engaging, and practical way
- Humble, teachable, and excited to work closely with church leadership and volunteers
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative while building on an established ministry foundation
- Passionate about outreach and helping students who are far from God take their next step toward Christ
