Located in Irmo, South Carolina, East Lake Community Church has been a beacon of hope and faith since its founding in 1998 through the merging of Palmetto Point and Dutch Fork Christian Church. Position Description
The Children’s Pastor/Director will oversee all the efforts toward the youngest part of the East Lake Community– those in the nursery through grade five. The main pillar is the Sunday morning ministry to these children during both of the worship service times, but also includes special outreach events, summer programming (VBS) and other ministry opportunities as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Children’s Pastor/Director will lead the ministry for East Lake Kids, serving children from nursery through 5th grade
- This role focuses on creating dynamic Sunday morning experiences during both worship services while also overseeing outreach events, summer programming like VBS, and additional opportunities to disciple young hearts.
- The position offers the chance to shape a Christ-centered environment where kids grow spiritually, families feel supported, and volunteers are empowered to serve with passion and purpose.
